Complete restoration of an internal porch area
The old wooded bay window within the porch had deteriorated from years of excessive water damage. This had to be stripped back to bare wood and repaired with epoxy resin.
Once the structural repairs had been completed, the bay window was sanded and prepared, ready to be painted. We finished with new hardware, handles and hinges to ensure that the full restoration was complete.
Cricklewood, London
small roof repair on bay window
The roof of this 19th century bay window had a persistent leak for many years, causing extensive damage to the structural integrity of the internal roof components, including the major structural beams.
New internal beams were installed and fixed to the original undamaged beams. All visible wood was sprayed with a damp and waterproofing sealant spray.
The roof was finished with new tiles, guttering and down pipe, directing water to the nearest drain on the ground.
